Rupington Country Collection was formed in the summer of 2015. Inspired by our great love of the countryside, we wanted to find beautiful, quality homeware that you would find in a country kitchen and take it out to Country Shows in the summer months and to Christmas Fairs in the winter. The vision had to include a luxury range for the family dog too. Tired of the normal crude colours of dog beds covered in fur prints or dog bones, we wanted to provide a traditional looking bed with a tasteful quality fabric that would complement the interior of a traditional home.
So the search began to find Luxury goods that were designed and made in Britain with our aim to support small businesses, particularly those in rural communities. Goods are selected based on a strong country theme with a sense of tradition which we feel our customers will equally enjoy.
I am pleased to say that we have achieved our goal. We have suppliers in Devon, Norfolk, Staffordshire, Wales, Cornwall, Midlands and Penshurst Kent. With the exception of one product that we stock by demand ~ the Dog Drying Coat, all goods are made in Britain.
Kitchens are now being filled with elegant Earthenware Mugs and Jugs, Organic Cotton tea towels and Aprons, Cushions, Cards, Pure Wool & Tweed Throws and Tweed Gifts.
Equally our four legged friends are furnished with simple country designs, Soft Leather collars, with no bling, but designed for comfort. Rope leads, made from quality natural products in subtle colours. Dog coats with a purpose to dry your soggy Gun dog or family friend.
To top it all comfortable dog beds. The Classic for the dog that likes to curl up or the Cushion for the Labrador that likes to stretch out. All machine washable at 30 degrees, which keep their shape with no lumpy filling and best of all a combination of fabrics suitable for you and your dog’s needs.
Rupington Country Collection launched the e-commerce website in 2017 and we have had great feedback from customers. But we love getting our products out to you, as we realise that a huge part of the success is that you can feel the quality of the Pure Wool Throw. The smell of the leather and to see the beauty of the tones in the Tweed. So do go to our Events Page and come and seek us out, you are always guaranteed a lovely day out come rain or shine.
We have rather out grown our little studio, and have plans to extend it this year. The expansion coincides with the new Equestrian range and our very own product lines.
Best wishes Karen & Charlotte Robinson
